“Discourage litigation. Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can. As a peacemaker the lawyer has superior opportunity of being a good man. There will still be business enough.”
This firm exists to help individuals and businesses right what was wronged by the actions of another. We will seek out the simple and quick common sense solutions when available. But when none exist, we will help you navigate the complexities of our legal system to help attain victory.
Born a boot-wearing Texan, Daniel Goldberg spent his childhood in Tel Aviv, Israel wearing sandals. Upon his return stateside, he somehow graduated from Bellaire Senior High School, though the school does not credit his time in detention. He then received his undergraduate degree in International Studies and Political Science and a minor in Arabic from the Virginia Military Institute, during which time he spent semesters at the American University in Fez, Morocco, St. Anne’s College and New College in Oxford, England. Danny then earned his doctorate of jurisprudence from the South Texas College of Law. Immediately thereafter, Danny was admitted into the Texas State Bar. He was also admitted to the United States District Court of the Southern District of Texas and into the Tennessee State Bar, though he quickly realized the cost/benefit analysis on that last admission just didn’t weigh in favor of continuing to pay his annual dues to remain a Tennessee attorney.
Danny has devoted his career to civil litigation, trial law and simple problem solving. As of the end of 2024, he was the 1st chair attorney in 26 trials (7 jury, 9 bench, and 9 arbitrations) – nearly all of which he is proud to have won (we’ll forgive his first couple of years in practice when referring attorneys sent him their dog cases with a near guarantee of defeat). And his record in the hundreds of other cases clients entrusted him with is even better.
Since Danny has no private time, given his many children and clients (is there a difference?), he has no hobbies or passions to report.

“Discourage litigation. Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can. As a peacemaker the lawyer has superior opportunity of being a good man. There will still be business enough.”
These words hold as much truth now as they did then. Agreement and compromise will always take precedence in my function as your counselor. Yet part of the universal human experience – since Cain and Able, or alternatively since our primate origins – is to quarrel with one’s fellow man from time to time. For those instances, there seems to be no more civilized a form of combat that the American adversarial civil trial by jury, which the American Constitution’s 7th Amendment guarantees:
“In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.”
Our firm will be prepared to stand by your side on these days.
Then again, as Norm Crosby once said: “When you go into court, you are putting your fate into the hands of twelve people who weren’t smart enough to get out of jury duty.”
