What fun! This is one of our little ways of showing our local Houston Police Department officers (at the South Central station) love each year. We began the tradition in the Summer of downtown to serve the deployed officers during the ongoing protest and have continued yearly thereafter. While it might be “cooling off” now that we’re in October, it was still 94 degrees here in Houston. Hopefully, these frozen treats will cool off the brave men & women who protest us, while filling their belly with a little bit of our gratitude, too.
